All-electric sports club in Rotterdam

A sports club in Rotterdam wanted to phase out natural gas and run entirely on self-generated solar power. How does battery storage work in combination with solar panels or wind energy?

Our battery stores excess energy locally whenever more energy is generated than is consumed. This energy is then automatically used during periods of higher demand or when market prices are favorable.

Can I make money through energy trading?

Yes. Stored energy can be sold intelligently through the imbalance and EPEX markets. Our software (BBox) automatically manages this process, allowing you to benefit from price fluctuations without having to lift a finger.

How much maintenance does the system require?

Virtually none. Our systems are monitored and controlled remotely. Any necessary maintenance is flagged in advance. This means you get maximum efficiency with minimal effort.
